Youth Group

Can I Be a Member?

If you are a member of Church of the Annunciation, and you are in the 9th – the 12th grade, then you can be a member.

Who Are They?

The Youth Group is made up of Church of the Annunciation youth that have received their Confirmation sacrament. This group goes on retreats, they help with many of the church activities (fish fry, Breakfast with Santa, Trunk or Treat) and attend NCYC and other National Catholic events.  Many of our Youth Group members have become ministers of the Mass.  They are lector’s of hospitality and we are setting up a class for them to be Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist.  Because our youth has been exposed to and encouraged to participate in all aspects of our parish life, we feel that they are learning the importance of community and being part of their parish.

When Do They Meet?

#AYG meets every Sunday during the School year 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Regular meetings are not during the summer but activities are planned.

For all field trips off the Annunciation Church campus students must fill out a Permission Slip and Health Form and have a parent or guardian sign.
